Turbine flow meters Emco PHD Turbo-Bar TMP series, etc.

The principle of operation of TMR submersible turbine flowmeters is based on measuring the rotational speed of the rotor (impeller) installed coaxially in the pipeline. The rotation frequency of the rotor is directly proportional to the local speed, and, consequently, to the volumetric flow rate of the medium. A feature of a turbine flow meter with a local velocity meter (submersible, probe type) is the need to calculate the average flow rate over the cross section of the pipeline to determine the true volumetric flow rate.
ADVANTAGES AND OPPORTUNITIES- a single type of flow meter for all media and all pipe diameters from 80 to 2000 mm;
- extremely high ambient temperatures - up to 400 C;
- high medium pressure - up to 138 Bar;
- negligible pressure loss;
- measurement of extremely low velocities of gas media;
- easy installation and disassembly without removing pressure in the pipeline;
- current and frequency output signals;
- pressure and temperature measurement;
- interchangeability of rotors for different environments.
